ALESSO UNVEILS BRAND NEW TRACK ‘FALLING’

Alesso has unveiled his brand new single ‘Falling’, available now via Virgin EMI. The track, co-written by Alesso, is his first single since 2016’s ‘Take My Breath Away’.
‘Falling’ sees Alesso progress his sound in an intimate and soulful direction, with references to the many early house classics that inspired him.
With 5 UK top ten singles to date, including the number one hit ‘Under Control’ (with Calvin Harris and Hurts), Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Alesso has many accolades to his name.
His debut album ‘Forever’ hit the UK top 30 and featured collaborations with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and Tove Lo. The huge hit ‘Heroes (We Could Be)’, amassed over 1.5 billion streams worldwide and helped launch Tove Lo into pop superstardom. Alesso has also previously teamed up with Sebastian Ingrosso and Ryan Tedder for ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’, which went to No.1 on the Billboard Dance chart and has since been streamed over 63 million times on Spotify. The video for “Tear The Roof Up”, also on the ‘Forever’ album, was the first ever video to be premiered on Snapchat and saw over 500,000 views in under 30 minutes.
Known as much for his incredible live shows as for his releases, Alesso is currently on tour across the globe. He will headline Miami Ultra Music Festival in March, as well as EDC Mexico and Euphoria Texas – all alongside residencies at XS at The Encore and Wynn’s Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas. He also opened for Madonna on her MDNA tour, who invited him personally, referring to Alesso as “the next big thing in dance music”.

HAVANA BROWN & KRONIC ‘BULLET BLOWZ’

Just before his absolute ‘Beast’ of a track with Lil Jon and Senor Roar drops, Beatport-topping Australian EDM DJ/producer Kronic gets busy in the studio with fellow Down Under native Havana Brown on upcoming single ‘Bullet Blowz’. The pair delivers a juggernaut of an anthem perfectly timed for the international festival season, premiered exclusively this week via global music behemoth MTV.

Thundering electronic notes, driving snare slaps, basslines that threaten to induce sickness and Havana’s vocals spitting across the top saxophone lines of the track; this is big room, big arena, big event, big everything.

With an undisputed knack for working with the world’s hottest producers – four Billboard Dance and Club Play Chart #1s under her belt, her collaboration with Pitbull ‘We Run The Night’ smashing its way to platinum status in the US and RedOne, R3hab, Luciana, Nick Clow and more credited on her album ‘Flashing Lights’ – Havana Brown knows a hit when she hears one more than most. After his own success on the Billboard charts producing the Lil Jon and Tyga hit ‘Bend Ova’ and upcoming collaborations with Chris Brown and Justin Bieber, Havana was more than keen to work with Kronic.

“Kronic and I have been friends since the start of our careers when we both lived in Melbourne,” Brown said. “I’ve always been a fan of the character and energy of his music, and after he remixed my single ‘Warrior’ I knew we had to collaborate on something original. The hard part was finding a time when we were in the same city together for more than couple of hours!”
Kronic himself is still riding high after his latest track ‘Vamonos’ – a collaboration with Dirty Dutch King Chuckie and Krunk – made its way around the global dance floor circuit, catching the attention of Guetta, Dada Life, Showtek, W&W, Laidback Luke, Henry Fong, Radio 1’s Danny Howard and more.

Now with ‘Bullet Blowz’ ready to hit the download charts and ‘Beast’ receiving its first official play at Ultra Miami courtesy of MAKJ, the rising Antipodean star is beginning to make serious waves into the lucrative and hotly contested Stateside market.

Alesso announces headline UK shows in December // tickets on sale Friday 10th October

Grammy®-nominated top-charting Swedish DJ/producer Alesso‘s new single ‘Heroes (We Could Be) ft. Tove Lo’ is looking set to smash the UK charts with over 3 MILLION combined YouTube/ Soundcloud plays ahead of its 16th November release. Scheduling three very special solo headlining UK and US concert events, Alesso will play at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Saturday 22nd November, O² Academy Brixton in London on Friday 19th December and at Warehouse Project in Manchester on Saturday 20th December, having previously sold out all three venues on his world dominating ‘Uprising’ and ‘Ascension’ tours last year.

Alesso is no rookie in keeping the party lit,” raved Vibe upon hearing “Heroes (we could be)” for the first time. The track “very much echoes the stadiumesque turn his own live presence has taken,” observed Dancing Astronaut, “giving a far more tempered and pop-driven spin on his stylings as much cut to the quality we have come to expect from his original productions as ever.” Banging Beats concluded: “The track plays to Alesso‘s strength as it brings us back to the blissful progressive sound that turned him into a household name.” In just two weeks, ‘Heroes (We Could Be)’ has received support from top BBC Radio 1 DJs Pete Tong and Danny Howard, has been play listed at Capital Xtra 10 weeks from release and hit the Top 40 Global Shazam charts.

As ‘Heroes (We Could Be)’ was beginning its ascent, Alesso made pop history when the video for ‘Tear the Roof Up,’ his international single release from July, became the first clip to premiere on Snapchat (12th September), the booming photo and video app whose content is viewed a half-billion times daily. The video’s exclusive Snapchat premiere was viewed 560k times in just 30 minutes, followed by its worldwide release on #1 music destination VEVO. In its first two weeks out, ‘Tear the Roof Up’ has gathered over 710,000 YouTube views.

Meanwhile, Alesso‘s millions of fans around the world, ardent followers of his many single releases since 2012 (and remixes since 2010), are thrilled that he is working on the completion of his debut album for Virgin EMI UK /Def Jam Recordings.

About Alesso:
With over 2.75 million Facebook likes, 600,000 Instagram followers, and 1 million Twitter followers, plus more than 100 million combined YouTube views, 23-year old Alesso is making the transition from dance floor hero to house-hold name. His fans and collaborators include dance/electronic music luminaries Sebastian Ingrosso and Swedish House Mafia, Avicii, Calvin Harris, OneRepublic, and influential BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong. Then there are the millions of fans who flock to Alesso‘s sold-out shows around the globe, and stay up-to-date with his string of hugely popular remixes.
Alesso was still in his teens when he was first mentored by Ingrosso, who signed him to his management company and record label. Alesso entered the scene with the ‘Taking It Back’ remix of Avicii‘s ‘Alcoholic,’ but it was his addition of a classic house drop to Nadia Ali’s ‘Pressure’ that turned the single into one of the most played dance tracks of 2011. Subsequent remixes for SHM and Devolution earned Alesso the ‘EDM Artist To Watch’ title from MTV.
2012 was Alesso‘s breakout year, as he teamed up with Ingrosso and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder for ‘Calling (Lose My Mind),’ which went to #1 on the Billboard Dance chart and has since been streamed over 33.5 million times on Spotify. Alesso opened for Madonna on her MDMA tour, and released a volley of commercially and critically celebrated remixes including David Guetta‘s ‘Titanium,’ Keane’s ‘Silenced By The Night,’ and OneRepublic’s summer anthem, ‘If I Lose Myself.’ It hit #1 Dance in Billboard, earned a Grammy Award® nomination for Best Remixed Recording, and has over 40 million streams on Spotify to date.
Alesso went on to play for sold-out crowds all over the world, landed a Las Vegas residency, and became a festival favorite at Coachella, Electric Daisy and Ultra. During his first headline tour in 2013, he released ‘Under Control’ with Calvin Harris and Theo Hurts, which topped the Hypemachine charts, was named Pete Tong‘s ‘Essential New Tune’ and hit 1million YouTube views in just 24 hours. He ended the year by producing Example‘s “Queen Of Your Dreams” and, alongside Swedish House Mafia, ‘Numb’ for R&B megastar Usher. Alesso‘s Uprising tour, which began November 2013, saw him play to sold out shows across North America, Australia, Asia, and the UK.
‘Heroes (We Could Be)’ was described by Alesso as “about believing in yourself and going for your goals. The song gives me the feeling that something might be over, but it’s ok, we’re still here together after it. This might be the last time we’ll be in that moment, but we can create new ones afterwards.” His goal “is to bring a message; I want to uplift people though music, I want to inject emotion into dance music. I want people to scream, jump, feel happiness. Explosive happiness. The best thing about music is it has no rules; I love the idea of breaking the rules.”
