Bingo Players celebrate 10-year anniversary with new EP and fall tour

Bingo Players have been a driving force in the dance music world for ten years – releasing chart-shredding global hits, headlining festival main stages and even founding their own Hysteria record label. But at the height of their success in 2013, one half of the duo Paul Baümer suddenly passed away from cancer. His other half Maarten Hoogstraten has carried on their legacy, and to celebrate a decade since Bingo Players’ inception has announced a 10 Year Anniversary Tour as well as released of Spinnin x Hysteria present 10 Years of Bingo Players.

The 13-stop 10 Year Anniversary Tour will kick off November 3 at LIV Nightclub in Miami and span the country leading to 2017 with more dates to be announced. Proceeds from every ticket sold on the tour will benefit F*ckCancer, which raises support and awareness of early prevention and detection. Bingo Players partnership with F*ckCancer will include charity auctions, donations from each show and other activations.

To further commemorate a decade of Bingo Players, Spinnin x Hysteria present 10 Years of Bingo Players serves as a remix EP featuring new versions of the artist’s most well-known records. The reworks from the EP have already approached 3 million collective streams on Spotify, featuring prominent efforts from the likes of A-Trak, Phantoms, and Jay Hardway, along with an unreleased cut from hotly-tipped Hysteria signee Zookeepers. Most notably, the A-Trak + Phantoms remix of “Cry” sat at #1 on Beatport for three weeks straight.

Bingo Players and F*ckCancer have also teamed up for their ‘Be An Epic Story’ initiative which invites fans to submit their cancer story as well as why they love Bingo Players for a chance to win a meet & greet with the storied act.

Bingo Players Announces 10 Year Anniversary Tour

Maarten Hoogstraten – the sonic innovator best known as Bingo Players – has today announced the Bingo Players 10 Year Anniversary Tour. In honour of his late production partner Paul Bäumer, who tragically passed away from a short battle with cancer in 2013, Maarten has teamed up with FuckCancer to host a slew of ground-breaking events across North America to celebrate 10 years of Bingo Players and to raise money for cancer research.

Kicking off on Thursday 3rd November at the infamous LIV Nightclub in Miami, the electro-house stalwart will tour around North America with a non-stop schedule of 13 different events in 11 different States, gracing the decks of some of the most iconic venues including Space NYC, District 30 and Club Rio. Promising some of the best shows of the season, Bingo Players has invited hotly-tipped talent and fellow Hysteria Records signing, Zookeper to help bring the noise to a selection of the scheduled parties.

Powering through the first 8 months of 2016 with an array of colossal releases, Bingo Players unleashed ‘Lone Wolf’, which has amassed almost 2 million plays on Spotify alone, an exceptional remix by A-Trak & Phantoms of ‘Cry (Just A Little)’, which sat comfortably on the #1 spot on the Beatport Top 100 Charts for 3 weeks, and his own remix of ‘Tom’s Diner’, which has been played at festivals and clubs all around the world this summer. His most recent release, ‘Be With You’, is a hybrid broken beat anthem, that mixes classic rave sounds with modern production.

Touring relentlessly to all corners of the world, Maarten has completed a wildly successful Bingo Beach Residency at Rehab Beach Club at the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas, and brought the renowned event to both Miami Music Week and The Governors Club NYC. A-Trak teams with Phantoms to remix Bingo Players’ classic ‘Cry (Just a Little)’

Sam Allan – Vesper Remix Competition

Fast rising American talent Sam Allan has been creating quite a remarkable reputation for himself amongst his peers and in the Dance music scene, thanks to his hard-working ethos, perfectly crafted productions and storytelling DJ sets. Armed with his arsenal of a unique blend of House, Tech, Progressive and Trance flavours, Sam is the mastermind behind hits such as ‘Outer Limits’ and ‘Vesper’, as well as playing alongside some of the world’s top spinners, including: Bob Sinclar, Sander van Doorn, Deniz Koyu, Bingo Players, Chuckie and Cosmic Gate – achievements many aspiring and established artists can only dream of.

Sam teamed up with Dubai based label The Groove Society Records for the release of his record ‘Vesper’’. Created in 2012 by Dezarate, the imprint is now part of Sony Music and has become a leading label in the Middle East. ‘Vesper’ and later ‘Outer Limits’ have seen Sam join the label’s impressive roster that includes artists such as: Jerry Ropero, DJ PP, Dany Cohiba, Eddie Amador, Robbie Rivera, Dee Marcus, Lipous, Matan Caspi, Stage Rockers and Federico Scavo to name a few.

Bingo Players host “Bingo Beach” at Governors Club NYC on Saturday June 18

As if you needed another excuse to day party on a summer Saturday, Bingo Players just announced their massive “Bingo Beach” event at Governors Club on June 18. Bingo Players will be joined by friends Quintino, Jenaux, Cheat Codes, and special guests Bassjackers for an epic electro-house takeover that will last well into the night. Bingo Players first broke through in 2011 with their hit “Cry (Just a Little),” and the Dutch duo quickly became regulars on the American festival and club circuit. Their energetic sound captivated audiences around the world with bouncy synths, driving beats, and guitar-like riffs, and hits like “Rattle” solidified their place as international superstars. Tragedy stuck the duo when Paul was diagnosed with cancer in June 2013 and passed away in October of that year, devastating both Maarten and the entire dance community.

Maarten has continued the Bingo Players legacy in memory of his partner, and now teams up with the charity Fuck Cancer to support the prevention and early detection of the devastating disease. Dan Domino & Dan X – Find My Home

Hungarian DJ and producer Dan Domino makes his mark on 2016 with the release of his first original track of the year, ‘Find My Home’, out now on Beatport via Panda Funk Records.

After the success of his previous collaboration with Dan-X ‘Flame (Only One)’, it was only a matter of time before the production duo teamed up once again in the studio. ‘Flame (Only One)’ which was released on Pixel Empire Records, gained immense support from industry heavyweights Tiesto and W&W, firmly securing the duo’s place amongst the world’s best upcoming talents. Maarten Hoogstraten aka Bingo Players is striding into 2016 with another incredible mix to add to the collection, featuring tracks from nearly every corner of the dance spectrum. Throughout the hour run, he flawlessly blends his own remixes and originals with tunes from the likes of Chocolate Puma, Yellow Claw, MAKJ, and Jack Ü. This past year, Maarten dedicated much of his time to playing live to the legions of devoted Bingo Players fans, travelling around the globe from Croatia to Mexico, and Italy to Miami, spanning massive festivals, including TomorrowWorld and EDC Las Vegas. 2015 also saw the release of two massive Bingo Players originals, ‘Curiosity’, and ‘Nothing To Say’, and remixes for the likes of Hardwell and Mystery Skulls. Along with the New Years mix, Maarten expressed a desire to directly thank his fans for their continued support, and provided a handwritten note extoling his sincere appreciation.
