R3hab – ‘Trouble’ (Mike Williams Remix)

To celebrate the release of R3hab’s single ‘Trouble’ featuring rising pop vocalist VÉRITÉ, Dutch DJ Mike Williams reveals his captivating rework of the emotive track.

Mike’s remix starts with swarming synth patterns before easing into softer club beats, surrounding VÉRITÉ’s smooth vocals. Hard-hitting snares and playful melodies later come into play, transforming ‘Trouble’ into an electronic workout.

The infectious rework coincides with Mike’s single, ‘Don’t Hurt’ feat. Br?zy. The poignant track hit #1 on Beatport’s Future House Chart, while the accompanying music video has reached over 1. 5 million YouTube plays. Elsewhere, Mike is gearing up for an extensive run of tour dates this summer. He will be returning to revered festivals Tomorrowland and Mysteryland, as well as making his debut UK festival appearance at Creamfields.

From launching his career over a decade ago, Fadil El Ghoul, better known as R3hab has worked with a range of dance music talent, including the likes of NERVO, Headhunterz and KSHMR. Another product of the thriving electronic talent to come out of Holland, R3hab has been heavily supported by Afrojack, who signed the Dutch DJ to his Wall Recordings imprint. R3hab’s 2016 single ‘Freak’ has been one of his most notable to date, having achieved almost 30 million Spotify streams.

Andy C Drops New Single For Ram Records

Built for the rave and forthcoming on Ram Records, Andy C’s ‘What Bass’ has been roadtested during his 13 week XOYO residency, and was given its first radio play on his Beats 1 show. This dancefloor-ready cut is the first new music from Andy C since 2016’s ‘New Era’, and will precede a new single for Atlantic Records later this year.

With over 40 awards to date, Andy C’s career has been nothing short of a phenomenon. He’s sold-out Alexandra Palace and Brixton Academy with his own solo shows, played headline slots at the world’s greatest festivals including Creamfields, Glastonbury, EDC, and SW4, and released a string of phenomenal crossover anthems like ‘Heartbeat Loud’ and club tracks like ‘New Era’. He’s also the go-to remixer for the likes of Major Lazer, Sigala, London Grammar and beyond, and the d&b figure recently chosen to host the first drum & bass radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1, broadcast to over 100 countries.

As the owner and figurehead for Ram Records, which celebrates 25 years in 2017, Andy’s nurtured and developed huge headline artists such as Chase & Status, Wilkinson and Sub Focus, turning it into one of the world’s most respected independent operations across recordings and now festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Creamfields, and SW4 where Ram have hosted their own arenas and stages.

Andy’s main signature motif as a DJ is that he’s guaranteed to be packing tracks that no other DJ has. Hunting, digging, searching and signing: he is constantly immersed in new music. Not only does this ensure a wholly unique experience when you see him live, but it also gives Ram Records a front row seat when it comes to spotting new artists… As the likes of Loadstar, Wilkinson, Calyx & TeeBee, Frankee, Delta Heavy, Culture Shock, DC Breaks, Hamilton, Mind Vortex, Chords and many more can happily confirm.

On 31 March, Andy completed his 13 week residency run at XOYO. The first d&b artist chosen by the renowned London club, tickets for his entire residency sold out far in advance. The Friday night run allowed Andy to nurture a weekly crowd on a par with his legendary sets at The End, bringing together older heads and d&b’s new converts together under one roof.

Summer 2017 festival dates include Lovebox, Let it Roll festival, Snowbombing, Lost & Found, Wild Life, Parklife, Dour Festival, Nu Forms, Boardmasters, Dreambeach, Innovation in the Sun, Tomorrowland, Reading Festival, Leeds Festival, Bestival, Middlelands and many more to be announced.

AXWELL /\ INGROSSO UNVEIL VIDEO FOR ‘I LOVE YOU’ FEAT. KID INK

Axwell /\ Ingrosso have released the video for their latest single ‘I Love You’ featuring Kid Ink. The epic, cinematic-style video follows a thriller narrative with an unexpected plot twist involving Kid Ink and three women.

Director Colin Tilley’s credits include directing the video for Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Alright’, which won him four awards including the MTV VMA for ‘Best Direction’.
