Killsonik – Girly / Bloodlust

Killsonik is on fire right now. After working hard to make his name over the past few years, there is no statement of accomplishment that can match signing to the prestigious MTA Records. While remaining one of the most exciting producers in the world of bass music, his newest project promises to be one of the most anticipated Dubstep releases this year.

‘Girly’is a beast of a track. It’s so deep and dirty with this crunchy organic texture I just cant get enough of. It’s one of those tracks you drop at 3am when you want to melt everyone’s face and remind them what a late-night EDM party is all about.

Cherry Coke – More Coke (Original Mix)

Piotr Suchecki, better known as Cherry Coke, is about to put Poland on the EDM map. Dubbed the Polish Avicii, Cherry Coke is know for his uplifting big room sound and ‘More Coke’ delivers just that.  It has all the makings of a progressive banger with solid chord progressions and huge synths, but its the little things that make this track great. The tasteful sampling of Leela James’ ‘My Joy’ and little wrinkles of dub step are signs of a seasoned veteran, not a 21 year old up and comer.

Andy Moor & Ashley Wallbridge feat. Gabriela – World To Turn

The long-awaited successor of mega-hit ‘Faces’ has finally touched down. Melting the sounds of Ashley Wallbridge and Andy Moor, is the enthralling ‘World To Turn’ ft. Gabriela.

2012 is a year sparkling with promises. Not only did it bring Ashley Wallbridge’s ‘The Inner Me’ album, but it will also reveal another highlight: the debut album of Andy Moor. Two highly anticipated albums, which both feature ‘World To Turn’.

Notching up the fresh breath of musical air from Ashley’s style and the skills and experience of UK’s finest Andy Moor, it makes up for another strong addition to EDM’s hotlist. ‘World To Turn’ spins around a solid pair of vocals, playful tricks, warm melodic work and a tight set of beats.

DJ Marky & S.P.Y. – Last Night / Love Affair

Emerging from the Amazon are two well established names aimed at becoming one of the most prestigious partnerships in Jungle music. These two Brazilian boys, DJ Marky & S.P.Y., are no strangers to the 170+ flavor of EDM. Both artists have extensive and dynamic track catalogs going back more than a decade, and the amalgamation of their styles has lead to the birth some soothing sounds. Their latest release is a perfect example.. This is the type of music I put on to keep me motivated during a long day at work. Its nice, energetic and full of flavor.

Beam Me Up – CAZZETTE

Believe it or not, I think Cazzette has actually managed to strike equilibrium with traditional (I use that term loosely) house music and dubstep. Personally, I think dubstep is the lovechild of rebellious 90s punk and electro. I’m not a fan of dub, and I never will be, but that does not mean its “bad” music or “distasteful”. It just harbors itself in a different place within EDM. However, Cazzette believes their track “Beam Me Up” may just be the answer, the bridge, and just right amount of each ingredient (not a mouthful of wobble) to close the gap between dub and house. I concur.

David Guetta – Without You (Jus Jack & Oza Remix)

Newly formed New York progressive house duo Jus Jack & Oza are making a splash with their remix of Guetta’s colossal sized crossover hit “Without You.” The duo, which is composed of the house-y beats of Jus Jack and the dance-trance of Oza, are stationed in New York, and we expect big things from these dudes in the future.

Henrik B & Rudy’s ‘Leave A Light On’ (with NO_ID remix)

We’ve just received an exclusive trailer for the next release on Axtone: Henrik B & Rudy’s “Leave A Light On.” The track is easy-listening house music through and through, with a nice soft build and lyrics that should be quite easy to sing along to. You may remember Rudy from his previous vocal work on little tracks like “In The Air,” “Phazing,” and “Diamonds In The Sky” — and his voice works well with Henrik B’s soft blend of EDM.

Hujje – Waffles (Original Mix)

I don’t think I’ve ever featured a track on here that has actually made me hungry, but while staring at this album artwork for the new single Waffles from Denver duo Hujje, I definitely think I felt my stomach growl. The new original work will definitely satiate any pangs of hunger for new EDM that you were experiencing, though. Grab your favorite syrup and of course a bib – and dig in!

Etnik – Vino

19 year old producer Etnik has got me counting down the days until his newest EP, Vino drops.  The title track, Vino is full of huge drops, analog sounding synths and a certain dark yet brilliant sound that has become rare in todays EDM scene. The Vino EP will feature a first class set of remixes from Rynecologist, NT89 and Borussia.  The EP is due to drop on April 10th.

Special Features & Michael Brun – Synergy Preview

I’m extremely excited to announce that today, April 11th, two of EDM’s most up and coming producers, Special Features & Michael Brun, are releasing a preview of their highly anticipated collaboration, “Synergy.” The two have teamed up to create a perfect representation of young creativity and energy in EDM today. “Synergy” is going to be released exclusively on Beatport on April 18th via Dirty South’s Phazing Records. The title “Synergy” signifies the unison of their innovative signature sounds and high production ability. The result is a beautiful progressive song that is not only exceptional, but also full of intensity, energy, and originality. With striking drums, a melodic and emotional build, and hard-hitting drop, “Synergy” is definitely a song that will remain in your memory for quite some time.

In the words of Michael Brun, “I think ‘Synergy’ turned out to be a fitting name since the track combines the best aspects of Eden’s sound and my own in order to create something completely new. I love the emotional breakdown and it all builds up to a heavy drop that I think will make it a great festival song. I’m really pumped to see what people think of it.”

In the words of Special Features, “Working with Michael was great and it will definitely be the first of many collaborations with him. This will be the first of a few originals coming out over the next few months. I am really excited to see the response ‘Synergy’ gets!”
