Bingo Players drops “No. 1 Disco” on own label Hysteria Records

Originally a concept that Maarten and Paul worked on together back in 2006, the new “No. 1 Disco” is a reworked version of the track that was never officially released, which fans have been requesting for years. Now, more than 10 years later, the track feels more current than ever with its catchy vocals, energetic strings, deep custom kick and dynamic melody, making it feel like rays of sunshine bursting through the speakers.

After hosting a packed out Bingo Beach at Miami’s No Sugar Added party during Miami Music Week 2017, Bingo Players is also making upcoming stops in New York, Las Vegas and Seattle as well as being on Chicago’s Spring Awakening lineup.

Last year, Bingo Players’ Maarten Hoogstraten completed Bingo Players’ 10 Year Anniversary tour which honored Hoogstraten’s late partner Paul Baümer who suddenly passed away from cancer in 2013. Proceeds from every tour ticket sold benefited FuckCancer, which raises support and awareness of early prevention and detection.

Henry Fong x Halfway House – F.E.A.R feat. Sanjin (Original Mix)

Aylen & Baewatch Release ‘How I Roll’

U.S. based (Colorado-meets-New-Jersey) production duo Baewatch have teamed up with Hysteria regular and Mario Kart enthusiast Aylen to produce a track that is sure to end the summer festival season with a bang. ‘How I Roll’ is out now via Hysteria Records.

Joining forces to create ‘How I Roll’, these three gems continue to rise and shine from the ranks of new producer talents. Laying claim to the EDC Las Vegas 2015 Discovery Project Winners title, Baewatch have proved they know the exact ingredients to make a banger, and with Aylen adding his production wizardry to the mix, the results do not disappoint. Jacking up the tempo to a fidgety 128 bpm, the energy is infectious from the start, with a pumping kick and marshal snares providing a far from gentle introduction. A pitched down vocal declaring “This is how I roll” gives us a momentary pause before we’re treated to a drop of biblical proportions, made all the bigger thanks to a huge growling synth that glides up and down the top line.

With more original tracks in the pipeline ready for release, Baewatch are determined to make the few remaining months of this year their own. Gaining massive support from the likes of Diplo, Krewella and Jackal, we can be sure that the future is bright for this talented pair. Whiz kid Aylen is no stranger to the dance music scene, with a catalogue of releases, including ‘Rafiki’, which was released via Hysteria Records in October last year. Merging their skills and passion to create this monster of a track, Aylen & Baewatch have demonstrated the power of three minds combined, and leave us impatiently waiting to see what they come up with next!

D.O.D & DUCKWORTHSOUND UNLEASH ‘BLOW UP’

Time and time again, Hysteria Records deliver the finest releases in the electro and house music genres. This month they bring D.O.D & Duckworthsound’s electrifying new track, ‘Blow Up’ – out now on Bingo Players’ revered Hysteria Records imprint.

D.O.D & Duckworthsound ease listeners into their musical journey with a progressive build, featuring winding synths, a powerful beat and chopped vocal samples before entering into a full on electro-drop. This hard-hitting belter takes no mercy on its listeners, unleashing an aural explosion, which brims with reverberating synths and a pounding bassline. One can already envision ‘Blow Up’ blasting from the speakers of the largest festivals and dance floors in the months to come.

Teaming up to produce this epic creation, D.O.D & Ducksworthsound are clearly a force to be reckoned with. UK DJ & producer D.O.D is no newcomer to the electronic music scene, with previous popular originals and collaborations such as ‘Pop Pop’, ‘Flashing Lights’ with Laidback Luke and ‘Bust Dem’ with Henry Fong. As his debut release on Hysteria Records, 18-year-old UK based Ducksworthsound proves that his sound is one to listen out for, as he is determined to breathe his own style into the scene!

HENRY FONG REMIXES BINGO PLAYERS’ CURIOSITY

Young producer and serial dance floor hit-maker Henry Fong is set to take the airwaves by storm with his huge remix of Bingo Players’ ‘Curiosity’ – out August 14th via Hysteria Records. This will be Fong’s second release on Hysteria Records after Bingo Players signed his single ‘Encore’ – a collaboration with fellow Hysteria veteran MAKJ, which was a Beatport Top Ten single for four weeks straight, and is still played out at all major festivals.

Fong teases the listener with the classic house piano stabs of the original before ramping up the tension to full and delivering a larger-than-life electro house drop, rich in percussion and melody this remix will soon be a staple amongst the big room DJ sets. Typical of his magnanimous productions, the soulful vocal is complemented by rhythmic chanting, before smoothly transitioning back into the piano hook tension builder. Delicately layered percussion builds the track up once more to a prefaced release of tension, proving the remix a suitably enormous electro production that will grace the sets of many a superstar DJ in the months to come.

After starting his own label Banzai and releasing ‘Wine Dem’ following the success of his hit single ‘Bust Dem’ on Spinnin’ Records, Fong is continuing to push the boundaries of the electro-house genre. Receiving its online premiere with EDM.com, this amped up remix is already gaining widespread support and attention with its characteristic groove-laden demeanour.

HARTEBEES RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE ‘SUNRISE FUNK’ OUT NOW ON HYSTERIA RECORDS

With every release, Hysteria Records augments its reputation as one of the most outstanding imprints in the electronic music game. After catching the label’s attention with his invigorating sound, Dutch electro-house producer Hartebees makes his debut release on the revered imprint with ‘Sunrise Funk’ – out now via Bingo Players’ own Hysteria Records.

‘Sunrise Funk’ has arrived at the perfect time, as the aptly titled summer song is crafted for all those dance floor revellers not willing to call it a night just because the sun is coming up! Between the deep-rooted claps, the industrial sampled vocals and the disco inspired progression, ‘Sunrise Funk’ grooves in all the right ways. The simplicity of the chords under the complex vocal sampling brings an element of contrast to the track and is the perfect foundation to support the suspenseful build and immense drop. If this fresh, yet classic tune is any indication, we can expect big things from Hartebees in the near future.

Amsterdam native Hartebees was no stranger to the entertainment industry before taking the leap into making it as an electronic music producer. Having spent most of his spare time learning the technology and theory behind music production, it wasn’t long before he was convinced by friends to send his material out to top-notch labels. Finding himself a home at Hysteria Records, he has been honing his unique and emphatic sound and is now ready to let the world outside of his attic studio in on all that he has to offer!
