Pierce Fulton – Pardon My French / What Happens In Vegas [Remix]

Fulton has been quite the rising star as of late.  He’s been slated to perform at  Ultra, had releases on Cr2 Records (like this latest one), and even been suported by superstars like Tiesto. Pierce Fulton, the 19-year old Vermont native, is a young electro house producer that is making quite a name for himself, and his new track “Pardon My French” exemplifies why.  After being named as one of Dancing Astronaut’s #1 emerging rookie of 2012, Fulton has come out with a banger of a track.  The track sounds similar to Porter Robinson’s style, but has an additionally glitchy feel to it.  With energetic builds, the drops do deliver with a crunchy bass and throbbing beat.  The melodies are clearly Dutch influenced, and have a fun, party vibe to it.

Fulton has also remixed Chuckie’s “What Happens In Vegas”  The track’s stems were originally put up on BeatPort’s Play, their in-house remixing competition and platform, but now they have another big league treatment.  With awesome synths, Fulton changes it from a Dutch banger into an entirely different Electro mold.  The track has a light, fun-loving Fulton feel to it (the uplifting synths and smooth builds!) , and a complementing  pounding bass.

Kaskade “Freaks of Nature” Tour at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on May 26

This summer, America’s #1 DJ Kaskade embarks on the biggest tour of his career with more than 50 dates across North America, including stops at Coachella, Ultra Music Festival and more. The “Freaks Of Nature” tour lands at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, presented by Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub, Saturday, May 26. Kaskade will continue his popular monthly residency at Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub throughout the rest of the summer tour.

The Chelsea, The Cosmopolitan’s state-of-the-art entertainment venue, has hosted some of Las Vegas’ hottest shows. From a star-studded grand opening featuring Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Chris Martin and John Mayer to British songstress Adele and music producer Deadmau5’ first-ever full live show on The Strip.

The New York Times recently called Kaskade the “new face of electronic dance music,” his own live show being a jaw-dropping spectacle that finds him performing in front of a massive LED screen that blares images synched with the music, while strobe lights scan the crowd. Playing tracks from his catalogue of more than seven albums, including his most recent release Fire & Ice from Ultra Music, Kaskade will bring a new show like none other with very special performances and set ups planned throughout the tour.

“It’s the most ambitious tour I’ve ever done,” said Kaskade. “Just the number of cities and the actual stage set I’m taking on the road in itself is an unprecedented feat for me. People who’ve seen me before will never have seen this and for those who have yet to see me, it’ll only enhance the experience that much more.”

Recently, fans have been taking to the third single and corresponding music videos from Kaskade’s smash hit album ‘Fire & Ice,’ one of the most anticipated cuts – the evocative and masterfully created “Room For Happiness” featuring none other than pop songstress Skylar Grey. More music videos and collaborations are slated for the upcoming months.

Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, has been in the trenches of the electronic dance music (EDM) scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He has released seven studio albums, including his latest ‘Fire & Ice,’ scored nine Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyonce, appeared at all the major summer music festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today. His 2011 release, ‘Fire & Ice,’ debuted at #1 on the Billboard Dance Chart, #3 on the Independent Albums Chart and #17 on the Top 200 Albums chart, while the iTunes version debuted at #4 on the overall album chart.

Tickets are available at www.marqueelasvegas.com. The show will be open to those 18 and over.

Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub Announces Chuckie’s Exclusive 2012 Las Vegas Residency

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0IqWCrYhn

Chuckie, the King of Dirty Dutch, brings Amsterdam’s daring, sophisticated and sexy style back to Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for another year starting January 13. His exclusive 2012 residency promises to deliver all new custom visual programming and performers.

Named one of “The Dance Music Producers of the Moment” by Rolling Stone, Chuckie recently released the ‘Dirty Dutch Blackout’ compilation featuring his new hit “What Happens in Vegas.” “With great inspiration comes great music and the place that inspired me most last year is really Las Vegas.” Chuckie says of the track. “Vegas is now officially ‘housed’.” Indeed, Chuckie’s residency last year saw him command Marquee’s 40-foot LED DJ booth and state-of-the-art Funktion One sound system to bring in a packed house every month.

Having risen to fame with chart successes such as “Let The Bass Kick” and “Aftershock,” Chuckie’s career has continued to develop. He is a global phenomenon who never fails to win over legions of fans with his upfront approach to making and playing music. Taking dance and urban music by storm in Europe, The United States, South America and beyond, he is spreading the Chuckie flavor with his explosive beats, surprise FXs and adulated climaxes. 2011 also saw Chuckie join the BBC Radio 1 team to present his ‘In New DJs We Trust’ show, spinning to a world-wide audience and showing off his undoubted talent behind the decks. As his stock continues to rise and rise, it seems the era of Chuckie domination is only just beginning.

Las Vegas Declares January 2 ‘Deadmau5 Day’

Las Vegas mayor Carolyn Goodman officially proclaimed January 2, 2012 as “deadmau5 Day” because that’s when the electro/house DJ from Canada launches his residency at Wynn Las Vegas. (He plays at XS Nightclub during New Year’s Eve weekend.)

Jesse Waits, co-owner and managing partner of XS and Tryst nightclubs, says the recognition of Deadmau5 has to do with the masses trooping to Vegas for not just gambling and all-day-long dabauchery, but also electronic dance music. He says, “The following for deadmau5 is phenomenal, and I applaud Mayor Goodman for recognizing both his remarkable persona alongside his ability to drive visitor traffic from fans traveling across the globe to experience his live sets.”

To celebrate January 2 in style, we say: Make your own Deadmau5 Head!

MARQUEE NIGHTCLUB & DAYCLUB AT THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS

NEW YEAR’S EVE 2012
KASKADE

This New Year’s Eve 2012, Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas celebrates its one-year anniversary with a blow out bash on December 31, 2011. Marquee Nightclub resident and America’s Best DJ Kaskade rings in the New Year on the dance floor of this certified global dance music hot-spot.

In just the last year, Marquee has established itself as the number one destination for the world’s premier electronic music talent, putting Las Vegas on the map as the “New Ibiza,” according to MTV News. With monthly residencies from in-demand global artists like ATB, Chuckie, Dirty South, Erick Morillo, Fatboy Slim, Markus Schulz, Redfoo of LMFAO, Roger Sanchez and Sander van Doorn — as well as appearances from Armin van Buuren, Avicii, Benny Benassi and many more — Marquee took clubbing to the next level in 2011, with its larger-than-life 40-foot LED DJ booth, dazzling custom visuals, state-of-the-art sound system with 32,000-watt subwoofers, and beautifully costumed dancers.

For its one-year anniversary, Marquee invites Kaskade back to set the dance floor ablaze with his signature anthemic house music. Recently voted “America’s Best DJ” in DJ Times, Kaskade finishes an incredible year that saw his ground-breaking Marquee Las Vegas residency, a legendary BBC Essential Mix, and the release of his seventh studio album, the double CD ‘Fire & Ice,’ on Ultra Records. A conceptual first in dance music, ‘Fire & Ice’ explores both sides of Kaskade’s personality: the ‘Fire’ disc contains 10 original songs geared firmly toward the dance floor, with collaborations with Skrillex, Dada Life, Skylar Grey and more, while the ‘Ice’ disc contains all the tracks remixed by Kaskade himself to provide the perfect down-tempo post-club experience.

General Admission tickets are now on sale for $200 (inclusive) by calling 702.333.9000 or at the following link: https://events.taogroup.com/tickets/default.aspx?id=304

Deadmau5 Announces Las Vegas residency

Electronic music superstar Deadmau5 has signed on with XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club for an exclusive yearlong Las Vegas residency at the clubs beginning on January 2, 2012. “I love that Vegas is really embracing electronic music as their staple entertainment,” says Deadmau5, who played several shows at the Wynn Las Vegas resort venues last year. “All of the Sinatras and Rat Packs are now DJs. I’ve heard Vegas is going to be the next Ibiza, but it’s its own thing. Here it’s all about flash and show and lights.” In this trailer for the residency, Deadmau5 tries out a few new career ideas before deciding to stick with his gig as a dance-music icon.
