ULTRA Worldwide Unveils First Standalone RESISTANCE Event

RESISTANCE – the concept created by ULTRA Worldwide that debuted in Buenos Aires just 18 months ago – will officially become a standalone event series with the launch of RESISTANCE Peru.

Launching in conjunction with Carl Cox & Friends, the debut RESISTANCE Peru will run this October 14, and will mark the very first time ULTRA Worldwide has EVER run an event outside of their renowned ULTRA brand.

In addition to the king himself performing, the inaugural edition of RESISTANCE Peru will feature some of the most respected acts in the scene including Nicole Moudaber and Matador with more to be announced, and will take place at the stunning Explanada Costa Verde site with a brand new stage production created specifically for the show by the Ultra Music Festival creative team.

Forever at the forefront of the global expansion of the festival and event scene, ULTRA Worldwide has brought the very best in techno music direct to the doorstep of fans across five continents through RESISTANCE, and with RESISTANCE Peru, they will once again lay down a marker as one of, if not THE most versatile producers of electronic music events today.

Before reaching the shores of Lima, the RESISTANCE worldwide takeover will run through Asia. With six ULTRA events taking place on the continent this September, RESISTANCE will be present at three of them in Singapore, Bali and Tokyo with Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli, Nicole Moudaber, Art Department, Reboot, Matador, Technasia, Shaded (live), Hector, Yotto and RioTGeaR just some of those set to perform.

Amidst one of Ibiza’s most prolific residencies this summer, Jamie Jones shows no signs of slowing down as he invites you to explore his ‘Virtual Trip’ at DC-10 for the 8th instalment of Paradise.

Joining Jamie this week is an eclectic mix of renowned producers. Grammy Nominated, Brooklyn-born Danny Tenaglia & Saved Records label head Nic Fanciulli both make their season debut ahead of an exclusive B2B performance from Paradise regulars Eats Everything & Patrick Topping. Matador brings a live showcase to the terrace, exploring his penetrating skillset that he used to create his debut LP ‘Ructions’ – released via self-imprint Rukus earlier this year.

Panorama Bar resident & Fabric Series successor Ryan Elliott graces the decks at DC-10, bringing his fine-tuned taste in techno amidst Jamie’s ‘Virtual Trip’. Tying off lose ends are this weeks resident DJs; wAFF, Robert James & Russ Yallop.

Tastefully tailoring the prolific residency will be bespoke, animated artwork based on a 1980’s virtual reality world. Known for going above and beyond with their set design and the infamous Paradise girls, expect them to go that extra mile for their 5th anniversary. To top off this year, Paradise will also be delivering a weekly radio show recorded each week via Ibiza Sonica from their signature airstream.

ULTRA Brasil Announces Full Phase One Lineup

ultra_riobrasil

With the inaugural edition of ULTRA Brasil in Rio de Janeiro only a few months away, festival organizers are excited to finally unveil the complete Phase One lineup.

Having confirmed Carl Cox and Martin Garrix as the first ULTRA Brasil headliners live at Ultra Music Festival Miami earlier this year, the world’s most successful independent music festival brand has now selected three more of electronic music’s most sought-after acts to join the party in Rio on October 14 & 15, 2016.

Next up will be French global megastar DJ Snake, whose collaboration with Major Lazer ‘Lean On’ has reached well over one billion views on YouTube, launching him to undisputed international stardom. Fan favorite Hardwell, who has been celebrated for his electrifying performances at countless ULTRA events worldwide, is also confirmed to play at the highly-anticipated debut event, alongside fellow countryman Dash Berlin, who will be making the trip to Rio this October much to the delight of thousands of trance loving Ultranauts. To balance out this finely curated list of headliners, ULTRA has called upon Argentinian trance and electro house duo Heatbeat and bass house pioneer JAUZ for support. Last, but by no means least, ULTRA Brasil will be welcoming Knee Deep In Sound boss Hot Since 82, Brazilian-born Techno queen Anna and famed producer Matador to the ‘Cidade Maravilhosa’, where the legendary DJs will showcase the freshest sounds from the deeper end of the spectrum on the RESISTANCE stage, artfully rounding out this spectacular Phase One billing.

Due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, ULTRA Brasil recently announced that it will be moving to the beautiful, centrally located Quinta da Boa Vista Park. The idyllic sprawling landscape will serve as the perfect setting for the introduction of ULTRA Brasil and will effortlessly capture the essence of the brand’s storied productions.

Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets sold out shortly after becoming available earlier this year. Limited Tier 3 tickets are now on sale, however, because demand for ULTRA Brasil has been so high, fans are advised to act quickly to avoid disappointment.
