SONNY SIDE UP – “Doing Whatever (feat. Dezzie Gee & Alfred English)”

“Doing Whatever” has never sounded this good, but then again, not everything has Sonny Side Up collaborating with the likes of Dezzie Gee & Alfred English.

Out today on all platforms, Sonny Side Up’s new single “Doing Whatever” takes the form of a razor-sharp, Sonny & Alfred-produced electronic production, blended smoothly with observational, off-the-wall raps from Dezzie. A track for the whip, the turn-up, the weekend, the party, your Spotify meme playlist, the funeral, the wedding – you know, whatever. This one simply goes hard and is best heard at loud volumes, many times over the course of your Summer ’17.

That’s Nice + La Felix – ‘Delicious’ | remixed by Patawawa, July Child, REFLEX & Dino Soccio

That’s Nice and La Felix discovered each other online, initially sending emails of rough ideas and different beats. Ultimately, ‘Delicious’ was the result.

“When we first started it, I sort of got the Daft Punk vibe, which is one of our main influences. We wanted to keep it very simple just like that Daft Punk song ‘Get Lucky’; small instrumentation but every instrument playing its part, having its moment throughout the song, and not overdoing it with production,” – That’s Nice

This sexy summer track conjures up images of a beach party with cocktails in hand and lounging on a day bed with your lover. It’s easy on the ears and will have you grooving from your shoulders all the way down to your hips.

The elegant productions are what make this song surprising and a nice change-up to the hard hitting and compressed electronic beats.

“By the time we were almost done, I was in Los Angeles doing some production work and seeing a lot of my producer friends adding real live drums to their disco-dance tunes. We needed to try that. So, last minute we completely changed the drum sound from electronic to a more organic natural sound instead using a real kick drum, a real snare, and real hi-hats,” – That’s Nice

“Manuel Lento feat. SVMVNTHV – Oceans”

„Manuel Lento“ is more in demand than ever, currently he plays since more than 7 years in Austria and Germany. Manuel has always the hottest tunes for his party crowd and after his big floorfillers FLY and Down Low he was working hard at the studio for his new Single “OCEANS”. Together with the wonderful voice„SVMVNTHV“ they created an amazing Vocal-Dance-Track.

CRECHE LONDON IS BACK

Launching in 2010. Creche quickly became the capital’s leading underground party series, throwing roadblock events at a plethora of the capital’s premier venues. By 2011 Creche was the hottest ticket in town, with founders Alexis Raphael and Cozzy D selling out Ministry of Sound three months in advance for their now legendary Sunday day-time party, where Kerri Chandler and Jamie Jones came together for the first time, smashing out an electrifying set that will forever be remembered as a highlight of the capital’s thriving day party scene. From then on Creche played host to the hottest names on the scene with the likes of Maceo Plex, Dusky, Dixon, and many other seminal underground artists passing through their sell out parties.

After several years’ hiatus, the guys are back for a series of daytime events throughout summer 2017. This time in a never before used East London space, with outdoor courtyard stage and blistering line ups – including several soon to be announced headliners, set to cause a huge impact and reignite London’s daytime party scene.

Launching on Saturday 6th May, the original Creche spirit is kept alive with a free event, featuring sets from Alexis and Cozzy plus a further headliner announced on the day. Head to the official Creche website to sign up for free guest list.

Brand new for 2017, Spanish show creators elrow continue to throw away the clubbing rulebook with the launch of their debut festival edition named ‘elrow Friends & Family’ – a one-day event that promises to be their biggest and craziest party to date.

Taking place on Saturday 15th July at the beachfront location of Salou in Spain (approximately one hour south from elrow’s hometown of Barcelona, easily reached via motorway and by high speed train as well as being 10 minutes away from Reus airport) elrow Friends & Family will cater to thousands of fans for an all-encompassing explosion of fun, colour, and confetti. Welcoming party regulars as well as fresh faces for an ‘anything goes’ day of escapism, the 16-hour celebration will include three stages of music that will each have a signature elrow theme in tow. Presenting their trademark playground concept on a grand scale, there will be no expense spared for the brand’s latest milestone with surprises planned at every turn.

With this 360-degree festival set to illuminate the European festival calendar, elrow Friends & Family represents an incredible few years for the elrow team which is underpinned by an unrivalled wealth of musical heritage. Having been running for 6 years now, elrow in its current form was created in 2010 by Cruz and Juan Arnau Lasierra, the sixth generation of entrepreneurs of the Arnau Family who also founded the Monegros Festival and the legendary Club Florida 135 in Fraga, Aragón.

Backed by a passionate and authentic love for event curation, it’s no surprise that the elrow family have gone on to achieve such unbeatable success in recent years. Their focus on fun has rejuvenated the electronic clubbing scene, and from their Barcelona HQ they’ve established residencies in Ibiza, Madrid, London and Amsterdam – holding a staggering 88 shows around the globe in 2016 growing to a planned 130 events in 2017. This summer, they’ll also present takeovers at leading festivals such as Tomorrowland.

Speaking of the festival, CEO and founder of elrow Juanito Arnau explains:

“After seven years offering shows all over the world, at last we’ve found the perfect spot to put on the most creative show ever done by the Arnau family in all their long history. For the first time we’re joining forces with some of the most crazily, imaginative people we’ve met around the world, from countries such as Brazil, Portugal, the United States, South Africa, Holland and the UK. Get ready to experience something you’ve never ever seen before.”

With the golden coasts of Salou in their sights, the future certainly remains bright for elrow. Tickets for elrow Friends & Family will be on sale next Thursday 6th April, with line-up announced in the coming weeks.
