Mike Saint-Jules Vs Danilo Ercole – Mars Rover

North and South America collide in this collaboration of epic proportions. Brazilian Danilo Ercole is back on Create, this time producing alongside New York’s finest, Mike Saint-Jules.

Straight off the launch pad, there’s a sense of speed as the ‘Mars Rover’ hurtles toward the breakdown zone. The crisp beats and percussion give way to an initially tranquil drop. A classic-esque chord sequence starts to amplify the tension and by the end of the break you’re yearning for the solid, stab-filled drop that follows.

On the flip side, Mike delivers an extra module to the release. ‘Mars Rover’ goes interstellar in the form of a deeper bubbling feast of electronica.

There’s plenty more discoveries to look forward to from both of these artists on Create, keep your ears open in the New Year.

Stream Jackmaster’s Mastermix 2015

Following the recent announcement of his first ever regional Scottish Tour, Jackmaster has unveiled his annual Mastermix for 2015. Clocking in at over 110 minutes and, as Jack himself puts it – listening like ‘kind of a Tweak-A-Holic 4.5 meets Mastermix’ – it melds together a bold, kaleidoscopic mix of both new and classic records, as well as some previously unheard, forthcoming Numbers material.

With the final, finishing touches recorded at The Lost Beach Club in Montañita, Ecuador while Jack was on tour across South America, there is a global feel to the mix too – a reference to Jack’s trailblazing tour schedule and a timely timely reminder of his position as one of the UK’s leading and most versatile selectors.

Jackmaster:
“I was worried I wouldn’t get this done due to gig commitments in South America, but Lost Beach Club in Montañita, Ecuador went out of their way to open up their back room (or “the cave” as they call it) so I could finish the mix. Huge thanks to them as well as all the people who were kind enough to share music with me for this one: Spencer (always), Cratebug, Armand, Ben UFO, Geroge Fitz, Mad Paddy who crashed in our villa in Ibiza, Palms Trax, Jonnie Wilkes and of course Martin Rubadub (also as always).

It’s a kind of Tweak-A-Holic 4.5 meets Mastermix 2015 (as I never managed to get tweak #5 done this year, sorry) but it also features a load of the tracks that have been more prominent in my sets this year that a load of people have been asking about, as well as a couple of forthcoming, unreleased Numbers tunes.
The recording includes some surface noise, at few needle skips and more than a few dynamic discrepancies between transitions due to the fact I am attempting to mix 3 decades worth of music and technological mastering advances into 2 hours worth of music.

Enjoy!!! And please join me in prayer that the Soundcloud Gods won’t delete this one.”

FTampa – Strike It UP

Sampling from Black Box’s 90’s hit, producer Ftampa reenergizes “Strike It Up” for the modern day. Out now via Musical Freedom, the sound of “Strike It Up” is brought to an entirely new level, pairing energized vocals with gripping progressive chords and heightened synths.

A main stage staple in his home country of Brazil, producer Felipe Tampa – better known as FTampa – has quickly grown in reputation since his start in 2010. Collaborating with recognizable names including Quintino and Felguk, FTampa quickly traveled to the front of Beatport’s radar, labeled “a rising star” by the outlet itself and breaking into their Top 10 charts. His music has most recently reached new audiences in the gaming world, after being tapped by licensors and both Playstation and XBOX. His resume only continuing to grow, the producer/DJ will be touring in South America this fall, with dates set for Sao Paolo, Bolivia, and more.

Bondax announce North American Tour Dates

As a duo who have managed to swim just slightly below the radar for the last few years, BONDAX emerge as a penetrable force. The UK duo bring a totally unique and intriguing new sound to the table. Having remixed for the likes of A-list DJs including Chromeo, Duke Dumont and Rudimental amongst others, BONDAX takes on Darius’ “Helios” with fresh perspective and appetizing appeal.

Known for their sun-kissed, R&B-infused, house sound, BONDAX approach “Helios” with a more experimental variant, drawing influences from 90’s trip hop and elements of soul, funk and jazz.

Bondax are a Manchester, England based UK production duo, made up of Adam Kaye and George Townsend both 21. Bondax released their first single in 2012 and since then have toured the world, including three US tours, shows across Asia, Australia and South America and supporting such acts as Chance the Rapper and Basement Jaxx.
