David Fesser vs Havoc & Lawn – El Mohan

The FMR favourite David Fesser returns to FMR after scoring big time with latest single “Etnia”.

After the release of legend Fatboy Slim´s Edit of Fesser, the track has taken the worldwide storm, and expect nothing less from the followup. Teaming up with Havoc & Lawn, enjoy the main room tech beast that is “El Mohan”. Enchanting vocals and a hypnotic flute lead the way on this super driving track which has already gained heavy support across the globe.

Stuart Ferguson – Voodoo EP

Stuart Ferguson has been a regular on Create Music through 2016 releasing epic tech-trancers ‘Maramor’, ‘Empire’, ‘Thumper’ and ‘M.E.F.’ and he continues to deliver into 2017, with the superb ‘Voodoo EP’ to start off his New Year.

First up it’s the title track, ‘Voodoo’ which is a darker, heads-down affair. As we’ve come to expect, the bass is deep, the percussion crisp and the track gets off to a flying start, no messing. The breakdown lures you in with a vibrating resonant drone from underneath which a synth line bubbles up to the surface. Once fully locked under the spell of ‘Voodoo’ you have no choice but to erupt into a dancing frenzy when the satisfying drop is reached.

As if this wasn’t enough, the flip side ‘Redeye’ gives you no rest-bite. Once again a driving tech sub-bass hits you in the chest. ‘Redeye’ is based around synth stabs which lead to an equally stab-based melody in the breakdown. The build is intense, then the groove and synth stabs return and you’re off again. Don’t even think of leaving the dancefloor yet.

Stuart Ferguson once again overpowers Create music with his latest driving tech trancer, ‘Empire’. It’s the British DJs 4th track on the label and like those that proceeded, the track takes no prisoners.

‘Empire’ gets straight into the action with a thumping kick and sub and tech stabs that build the tension until we enter a saw arp breakdown. The theme is dark, but the chord progression gives some light at the end of this battle. The thirst for the return of the kick and bass is finally quenched at the end of the breakdown, and victory is ours. Hail Stuart Ferguson.
