About Steve Angello
Steve Angello is a multi-platinum selling electronic musician, record producer, DJ, and entrepreneur. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Angello is best known for his involvement with super group Swedish House Mafia. His foray into music began at the age of 12, when he started as a young Turntablist fusing together hip-hop, breakbeats and 1970s classics. It wasn’t until Angello’s late teen years that he took an interest in electronic music and quickly became entrenched in Stockholm’s House music scene. Angello’s rise to fame came with the release of his innovative remix of the Eurythmics classic “Sweet Dreams” in late 2004. That was soon followed by a slew of signature tracks, including “KNAS” and “Rave n’ Roll” that established him as a force in House music. Steve is also an established record producer having worked on a number of A-list projects that include David Guetta’s “Baby When the Light” (featuring Cozi), Taio Cruz’s “Troublemaker,” “Shortcaller,” and “Positive,” will.i.am’s “This Is Love” (featuring Eva Simons), and Usher’s “Numb” and “Euphoria,” to name a few. In 2003, Steve founded the record label Size Records which has been home to many internationally acclaimed artists including Avicii, Tiësto and Deadmau5. In August 2013 Size Records celebrated its tenth anniversary with “SLVR” (pronounced “Silver”), a collaboration with Russian production duo Matisse & Sadko which was also the label’s 100th release.

Third Party ‘Every Day Of My Life’

Smashing their way though their #DECADE year, Size Records return with an almighty release from UK duo Third Party, set for release on on 27th May 2014.

With powerful vocals and big, emotionally charged hooks, Third Party are back with ‘Every Day Of My Life’, premiered on Steve Angello’s BBC Radio 1 Residency show last month. Transitioning from precious progressive underground players to Size Record’s inaugural British connection, Third Party are as resilient as they are melodically inclined.

Mustering the invaluable support of Steve Angello for ‘Release’, the song that would later become their Size Records debut, the rest of the world proved as equally taken by their strong-willed production values for the enigmatic follow-up ‘Duel’.

Taking on Electronic luminaries Cicada for ‘Feel’ and making the familiar reverie of Red Hot Chilli Pepper’s ‘Otherside’ their own with a game changing remix, further remix duties for Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Save The World’ as well as Steve Angello & Alex Metric’s ‘Open Your Eyes’ have established them as an outfit of wide ranging ambition and unlimited capabilities to match it.

Third Party vs Red Hot Chilli Peppers ‘Otherside’

What happens when a slick British main room production outfit decide to take on Californian drenched funk rock plucked straight from the halls of LA’s rock royalty? You can’t say you didn’t see it coming, but Third Party vs. Red Hot Chili Peppers ‘Otherside’ is finally getting an official release. Remixing a classic Chili’s cut from their seminal 1999 album ‘Californication’, Third Party take Fuiscante’s guitar licks and compliment them with big room synths, whilst looping Anthony Kiedis’ vocal into a breakdown that will be the moment of every club and festival set this summer!
