Tiesto and Mark Knight are finally releasing their remix package of “Beautiful World,” a track that took the electronic world by storm once upon a time. Previously an unofficial anthem of Ultra 2011, “Beautiful World” brings a heartening vocal to a harmonious blend of what we love from both DJs. Coming from Toolroom Records, The Ecstasy Remixes features Laidback Luke, Michael Woods, Torqux, Violet Oversoul, and Tom Staar & Sam Young. All five takes are of quality and worth a listen, but the remixes from Laidback Luke and Michael Woods have been gaining recognition months prior to today’s release.
Laidback Luke brings an edgier twist to the classic track with his contagious dance floor drums and synths, supplying a combination of the famous chorus and a wacky groove has created something very abstract from the original from over a year ago. Michael Wood’s remix feels much more natural as his signature drum patterns almost match those of Tiesto’s, only his spin is beyond uptempo with a deeper kick.

The world-renowned Tiësto will be returning to Electric Zoo Festival again in 2012, with the headliner spot on Sunday, September 2nd.
Tiesto recently told MTV News: “It is an awesome festival in one of the most incredible settings in the world. How often do you get to play with the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop? It is a special experience, being in the middle of a city with such a huge, energetic crowd. If you’d told me this would be possible 10 years ago, I wouldn’t have believed you.”
His closing peformance the first day of Electric Zoo 2011 was an epic occasion, see the footage by watching In The Booth – Episode 8, Tiësto’s all-access YouTube series (footage starts at 6:13). Said Tiësto after his set, “Electric Zoo was sick! The crowd was unbelievable and brought an incredible energy to the city.”
There is plenty to promise that 2012′s performance will be even better. Tiësto recently released the track “We Own The Night” with Wolfgang Gartner, an internationally renowned DJ/producer in his own right, who will be also playing at Electric Zoo this year (on Saturday, September 1st). Says Tiësto of his collaborator, “I’ve been a huge fan of Wolfgang for years. As a producer, there are few out there with the kind of talent he has, so teaming up was always something I was very keen to make happen.”
Following on the heels of “We Own The Night” is Tiësto’s new CLUB LIFE – Volume Two Miami mix album, released on his own Musical Freedom imprint and available Tuesday, April 24th. Tiësto’s personal productions and remixes are a driving force behind this mix. In addition to “We Own The Night” he is also behind the original productions “Chasing Summers” and “Make Some Noise,” created with the Russian trio Swanky Tunes. Remixes included are of Coldplay’s “Paradise,” Gotye’s international chart topper “Somebody That I Used To Know,” The Naked & Famous’ indie anthem “Young Blood,” which was remixed alongside the Dutch star Hardwell, and Afrojack’s latest hit “Can’t Stop Me Now.”
The Electric Zoo Festival and Tiësto are also happy to announce a special Electric Zoo Meet & Greet Contest. Two lucky fans, plus two of their friends, will get to meet the superstar DJ before his set. Gotye, Kimbra – Somebody That I Used To Know (Tiesto Remix)

Congratulations to Gotye, Kimbra, and the legendary Tiesto, whose remix collaboration on the track “Somebody That I Used To Know” just hit the #1 position on the Beatport Top 100 this weekend!
Appearing on Tiesto’s own label Musical Freedom, the remix finds the prime minister of prog-house reconstructing a lovely duet from Melbourne vocalist Kimbra and multi-talented producer Gotye. You can check out the video for the original version here, which just hit Billboard‘s #1 spot in their Hot 100 for the first time in the song’s 15 weeks on the chart. The remix from Tiesto shot up from its opening position at #37 in our Top 100 to take #1 in less than five days—quite a leap in such a short span.

‘If you close your eyes it’s a beautiful world’–you might remember those vocals from winter 2011 trouse hit from Tiësto and Mark Knight. Some 18 months later (give or take) they’re getting a full remix package.
Flash back to October. Hardwell debuted the festival-style Laidback Luke remix on his radio show. From then though, nothing. Well, it’s here. Finally.
To go along with the incredible (yes, pretty incredible) Laidback Luke remix is the progressive Michael Woods remix and the dubstep and abstract, respectively, remixes from Torqux and Violet Oversoul.

Ground breaking DJ and producer Tiësto is teaming with the hit music app “Tap Tap Revenge” for a first-of-its-kind promotion to give fans a sneak peak at his upcoming new album, Club Life: Volume Two Miami, one week before it drops. The highly anticipated second installment in the Club Life mix compilation series, Club Life: Volume Two Miami, will be released on April 24th on Tiësto’s own Musical Freedom Label. Starting tomorrow, April 17th, Tiësto will take over “Tap Tap Revenge” in the app’s first-ever integrated album promotion that includes a Feature Track of the Week for the new single, “Tiësto & Wolfgang Gartner – We Own The Night ft.
