Mat Zo Announces Self Assemble Album Tour + “The Enemy” remixes

After recently releasing his highly-anticipated sophomore venture Self Assemble, electronic visionary Mat Zo has announced the first 12 dates in his tour showcasing the critically acclaimed album. The Self Assemble tour hits some of America’s most prominent clubs like Output in New York and Sound in Los Angeles. Mat Zo will also make stops at the legendary Ministry Of Sound in London and Amnesia on dance music mecca Ibiza before closing the tour at Future Bass Park in Finland on July 30.

Self Assemble thrills the listener across its entire twelve tracks as the British producer showcases a symphonic body of boundary-pushing beats, a metaphor for his feelings about technology’s growing stronghold on our realities. Zo careens from nostalgic, nu-disco grooves like “Soul Food” and to pitchy, punchy electro thrashers like “Lights Out.” Perhaps the most standout track from the LP is “The Enemy,” a heavily synthesized love ballad anchored by newcomer Egan’s effervescent vocals. The track will soon be released as a single with several remixes that take it in exciting new directions. For now, check out the Fred V & Grafix for a taste of things to come.

Mat Zo cemented himself as one of the leading artists in the electronic sphere with the success of his Grammy nominated premier album Damage Control in 2013, and Self Assemble proves he’s not going anywhere. The producer and label boss has seen global acclaim for his own work, as well as praise for his remixes of music elite Ellie Goulding, Empire of the Sun and Porter Robinson. Zo and Robinson also co-produced “Easy” which hit number 1 on the Beatport Charts. Hailed as a musical prodigy, the self-professed production nerd is always in pursuit of a musical story regardless of genre or convention.

About Oneman
Whether through his acclaimed mix CDs, FabricLive 64 and Rinse 15, his fabled sets for Boiler Room, back-to-back festival sets with Jackmaster as Can U Dance or opening for renowned live dance acts like SBTRKT and even Major Lazer, Oneman has established himself as one of the UK’s most accomplished and versatile selectors. Touching on everything from garage to hip-hop to grime, his mixes – both in the club and on iconic London station, Rinse FM, where has held down a weekly show since 2007 – have served as a vital reference point for those looking to get to grips with UK underground music.

About My Nu Leng
After releases with both Black Butter and Chase & Status’ MTA Records, as well as their recent contribution to the iconic FabricLive series and consistent support from BBC Radio 1, My Nu Leng are revered for their blistering sets and dark, smouldering vibe. Having recently collaborated with Flava D on the monstrous ‘Soul Shake’ too – a track already being mooted as one of the underground club tracks of the year – they remain firmly in-demand.

Allen Stone reveals new track ‘Weekend’ + London Scala show

“The weekend is a wonderful time,” croons Allen Stone on his new track “The Weekend”, which you can listen + share HERE. Released just in time for the dance parties of this weekend, the cheerful track is the latest song to be revealed from the deluxe seven new songs on Stone’s Radius (Deluxe Edition), to be released via ATO Records on March 25th. Featuring new cover art, the album will be available on CD, Digital and 2 LP formats. It can be pre-ordered HERE.

After a short stint on Capitol Records, Stone has returned to ATO to release the deluxe version of Radius, the label who released his 2012 self-titled album to the tune of 75,000 copies. “I couldn’t be happier to return to ATO,” Stone exclaimed. “They are a label that works tirelessly for their artists. Their team is made up of genuine music lovers whose concern is creating timeless art not bolstering their 401k’s.”

Made in close collaboration with Swedish soul singer/songwriter/phenom Magnus Tingsek and producers Benny Cassette (Kanye West) and Malay (Frank Ocean), Radius (Deluxe Edition) captures the warm energy of that creative connection and transports the listener to a higher and more exalted plane.
Next month around the album’s release, Stone begins a whirlwind worldwide tour that includes shows in Australia, Madrid, Barcelona and more. He will also be performing at many of the summer’s highly anticipated festivals including Bonnaroo and Sasquatch. All upcoming tour dates are listed below.
