Break Science – Flocyde (Florence and the Machine & The Pharcyde)

Today I’ve got another great track fit for bringing in summer.. It features vocals from Florence and the Machine, and sampled beat from Pharcyde, all mashed and remixed together by Break Science with their added electronic flavor. The upbeat vibe filled with just enough bass is the perfect track to listen to at all times of the day. Having a live drummer and keyboardist just adds a different warmth to the track.  Break Science is the electronic group signed to Pretty Lights Music who dropped the free album The Monolith Code. Here’s a quote from the group about the track

“The melody is a key element that we like to infuse into our brand of electronic music. After hearing this song by Florence and the Machine, we felt the vocal line evokes an emotion which soars above the hard dance floor drums and future synths we eventually combined with it. We added a touch of the Pharcyde to give the listener another perspective on the tune and create a mashup of two very different yet familiar pieces of music. Hope y’all dig it!”

Turn up this track, and enjoy!

Henrik B & Rudy’s ‘Leave A Light On’ (with NO_ID remix)

We’ve just received an exclusive trailer for the next release on Axtone: Henrik B & Rudy’s “Leave A Light On.” The track is easy-listening house music through and through, with a nice soft build and lyrics that should be quite easy to sing along to. You may remember Rudy from his previous vocal work on little tracks like “In The Air,” “Phazing,” and “Diamonds In The Sky” — and his voice works well with Henrik B’s soft blend of EDM.

Laidback Luke ft. Chuckie & Martin Solveig – 1234 (Original Mix)

MixMash’s next monster release is Laidback Luke’s UMF premiered “1234,” which features Chuckie and Martin Solveig. The production effort comes solely from Luke, as Chuckie and Solveig contribute only to the chanting vocal that is so similar to  ”Who Is Ready To Jump.” Luke plans for “1234″ to be his summer anthem, stating “…To me 1234 is the epic-ness of the epic tracks, but I wasn’t even ready for such a huge success of this tune in such a short time.” Fans whom have been waiting for the release of this track since Ultra can finally breathe a sigh of relief and purchase it on Beatport today.

Starkillers, Dmitry KO & Richard Beynon – Keep Pushing (Original Mix)

Starkillers and Dmitry KO return to the successful formula that produced “Don’t Hold Back,” bringing you their latest offering, “Keep Pushing.” Nick Terranova has emerged as a serious production talent – ever since “Pressure” took off last year – and shows no signs of slowing down. His latest single, which has also been released off Spinnin’ Records, features a soulful vocal that syncs with deep and bouncy bass, and the standard Starkillers progression contributes to the dance-savy single per usual. If you are feeling the contagious nature of this track, head to Beatport for the release.

Lauer – Trainmann (Tensnake Remixes)

Phillip Lauer’s Phillips may not be out yet, but Hamburg’s Tensnake has already taken the reins on a pair of remixesfor one of the LP’s tracks. And with them he does what he does best—knocks out a pair of killer disco-house tunes with a tight bass, hot vocal samples, a little cowbell, and a whole lot of groove.

Pirupa – Party Non Stop

What was considered to be the track of WMC, ‘Party Non Stop’ is nothing short of a bomb. Produced by the young Italian, Pirupa, this track has been on many DJ’s set lists. Pirupa is coming off a streak of hot releases which include two Beatport number 1′s, therefore it is no surprise that a label rich with talent like Desolat would pick up the track. The combination of a fat rolling bassline infused with a vocal that is somewhat of a DJ credo, this track will create the atmosphere party goers yearn for. It is an upbeat tune that makes anyone within hearing distance bob their head.

Rey & Kjavik – All Alone

Today, Mount Esja, Iceland-based groove merchants Rey & Kjavik (get it?) exclusively released to Beatport their Compost debut, the Black Label 86 EP, featuring “All Alone.” It’s a slow-churning deep-house cut framed around a vocal sample that’s sometimes commanding and at others dubbed-out and set back in the mix, alternately serving as an anchor point and a rhythmic element. The whole thing clips along on a bed of light whirs and clicks as an insistent kick takes it all home.

Henrik B and Rudy – Leave A Light On (Original Mix and NO_ID remix)

NO_ID provides the only official remix of the track, keeping the release exclusive to the Axtone family. Unfortunately there’s a lack of production flexibility that we’ve seen from the Dutch duo thus far, and this remix sounds a little too similar to “How R U Feeling Right Now” and their remix of “Wild One Two.”  Regardless, “Leave A Light On” embraces the NO_ID sound and proves Rudy’s vocal to be adaptable for future mashups.

Cadillac – Too Long (Daft Punk Cover)

Taking on a classic Daft Punk is always dangerous, but when done to perfection like Cadillac‘s cover of Too Long, it adds to the timeless mystique of the robotic duo and gives instant cred to the remixing artist at hand. Cadillac’s tropical rendition pulls down the tempo and turns up the beachside vibe, sporting a sweet bass line while making perfect use of the oozing vocal of the original. This track can be found on Future Classic‘s forthcoming series of Australian covers of French artists, but you can download it for free via the link below. Soak in these summer vibes.

Alesso – Years (Vocal Mix)
